COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS

We have streamlined the process to allow organizations/individuals to offer their services, supports, or resources in alignment with our expectations, clear accountability metrics, and reporting requirements. Evaluating our collective outcomes is essential to determine if we are living up to our mission

As of February 2024, all present and potential community partners, service or resource providers are required to certify or recertify their partnership with Juvenile Court.  (Recertification will be required annually)

Level
1

PARTNER PROVIDERS

These are well-established organizations already serving the community and making a meaningful impact, independent of the court. They offer evidence-based services, have secure funding, and maintain exceptional operational structures. Partners in this category should be able to provide services immediately and, when applicable, year-round. Additionally, the organization should offer at least one wraparound support service (e.g., food, transportation, mental/behavioral health, or housing support).

Level
2

SERVICE PROVIDERS

These providers offer evidence-based services in areas such as mental/behavioral health, alcohol and drug counseling, supportive housing, sports/arts, or parenting classes. While we understand that some of these providers may require health insurance, we are particularly seeking partners that do not charge children and families for services.

Level
3

COMMUNITY RESOURCE GUIDE

These organizations are registered as community resources in our directory, on our website, and on our service map. They primarily require visibility and awareness but do not receive direct referrals from the court. These stakeholders play an important role in shaping the landscape of community resources.

Level
4

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROVIDERS

These organizations work exclusively with justice-impacted youth through a judicial order for community service. They provide opportunities that foster social-emotional learning and help reduce recidivism. We are particularly interested in expanding this category in underserved ZIP codes, including North Memphis (38127, 38128, 38108, 38107), South Memphis (38126, 38106, 38109), East Memphis (38125, 38141, 38115), and Millington (38053), where we currently lack sufficient community service providers.
